baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.
not much to report...sorry for the delay in posting and update on what's going on with the baby at this point in time. i was 7 weeks on sunday and am feeling every bit as tired as i imagine i possibly could be. wishing this week and next would hurry along a little so i can get to the ob appointment and check to make sure that everything is still ok. aside from being tired, my all day nausea has quieted down a little and i feel "better" during the day that i have in a while. this of course terrifies me that "something is wrong" or has changed with the pregnancy. i know it's normal for symptoms to come and go, but it doesn't make me any less nervous about it!
