well, so far so good. i had a follow up ultrasound and blood work done today to check my follicle growth...only 1 as of today after 4 nights of the follistim, but i'll take it...1 is better than none last time i checked. it measures about 10 mm at this point which the fertility coordinator said is right in line with 4 days on the meds. they are looking for it (and any others that decide to pop up) to grow to about 17-18 mm which is a "typical" size for a follicle with a mature egg.
my estrogen level is 86 which is up from last month as it should with taking the meds. the fertility coordinator said this too is right in line with only 4 days on the meds, so i guess, as i said...so far so good.
i will go back in again wednesday morning for another ultrasound to check the follicle growth and more blood work to check my estrogen. they said by wednesday the follicle should be about 14-15 mm (robin - the fertility coordinator - said that they should grow about 2 mm per day)...so please, please, please say your follicle growing prayers!!! hoping that by friday we'll have reached 17-18 mm and can do the hcg trigger.
