10w4d...how'd that happen?

we had a successful appointment on friday...so successful in fact that they pushed my due date a week earlier than originally thought. even though the re and ob know i ovulated 6 days later than most (day 20 of my cycle instead of 14 like most women), both agreed to move my due date back based on my lmp due to the fact that i've been consistently measuring 1 week ahead in all ultrasounds. so i am now due 1/28/11 instead of 2/3/11. yippee!

so at my appointment where i was terrified to be 9w2d (and right around the point where our little one stopped growing last time, we actually found out we were 10w and baby bug is growing great! we even got to see her/him dancing around on the ultrasound reassuring mama and daddy they are staying put! to see those little arms and legs wiggling around and giving a little happy dance sent both john and i to tears!

i will go in the next week and half to two weeks for my nt scan and then back to the ob on 7/30 for my 14w appointment. 4 weeks after that we'll have another u/s and ob appointment where we'll be 18w and we'll have our anatomy scan! will baby bug be a boy or a girl? check out the little poll to the right to place your bets!

we are finally allowing ourselves to be happy and not so terrified. we realize that anything can still happen, but we are not focusing on that. we're focusing on the positive and what the new year will bring for us!
